Emergency Notification system (Lynx)
The University of Findlay uses an emergency notification system (Lynx) to notify the campus community in the case of emergency. When activated, this system will broadcast alerts and information through a variety of methods. - E-mail to Faculty, Staff, and Student UFnet e-mail addresses
- Pop-up notifications to campus Windows computers
- SMS text messages to cell phones
The software required to receive pop-up notifications on your computer is available for download here. ‡Internet Explorer users must append "@findlay.edu" to their UFnet Account
Your computer must be connected to the UF network (wired or wireless) to receive alerts. The ability to opt-in to receive SMS text messages will be available shortly.
