Pension Protection Act of 2006 EXTENDED!
Take Advantage of a Golden Opportunity to Accomplish your Philanthropic Goals!
For a limited time, you can directly roll over from your IRA(s) up to $100,000 annually to charities such as The University of Findlay, and exclude the withdrawal from your gross income during your lifetime. These favorable provisions for charitable-minded individuals are part of the Pension Protection Act of 2006.
Are you required to take minimum withdrawals each year from your IRA?
Do you want to save on federal and perhaps state income taxes?
Generally to qualify:
• Transfers must roll over directly from your IRA (s) to qualified charities.
• Gifts can be made up to $100,000 annually.
• Gifts must be outright.*
• Available for 2006 and 2007 tax years only.
To learn how you can direct your gifts to The University of Findlay, contact Ann Brossia in the Office of Development at 419-434-7494 or
brossia@findlay.edu.
