In order for information about students' accomplishments to appear in their local newspapers, students must fill out and sign a Student Media Release Card and return it to the Office of Public Information.

The office sends out announcements for a number of student accomplishments and activities such as:

• Graduation;
• Dean's List;
• Freshmen matriculation;
• Student teacher and internship placements;
• Student organization offices held;
  
• Award and scholarship winners; and
• Music and theatre participation.
