Frequently Asked Questions

Student Questions:

How do I receive a copy my transcript?  Our transcript request procedures on the UF webpage (Quick Find/Transcripts or Keyword: Transcripts) provide you all the information you need to request a transcript. 

Where do I stand in regards to graduation?  You can check your academic progress via your UF Student Academic Information page or by applying for graduation (undergradute student/graduate student) and receiving an official graduation audit from the Office of the Registrar.

How can I get my schedule?  Your schedule is available on your UF Student Academic Information page or by coming to the Office of the Registrar with a picture ID and requesting a copy.

How do I get my loans deferred?  You can defer your loans by following the loan deferment procedures.

How do I know if a class will transfer for a degree requirement?  Our transient approval procedures can provide you answers on courses taken at another instituation which may transfer to The University of Findlay. 

How do I receive credit from the Advanced Placement Program (AP) and/or the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)?  Please refer to the AP/CLEP Proficiency Examination procedures to determine the appropriate steps to receive credit.

How do I use my Montgomery GI Bill Education Benefits?  You can find answers to this question at our Veteran's Education Benefits site.

Faculty Questions:

How do I receive my roster (class list)?  You can access an up-to-date roster on your UF Faculty Academic Information page or a printed roster is available in the Office of the Registrar on the first day of a regular semester course or mailed to you thru inner-office mail for any course offered in a condensed format.

When must my grades be reported?  The printed class roster sent by the Office of the Registrar shows the due date.  Or, you can refer to the University's academic calendar.

How do I receive my request for faculty evaluations?  You need to complete the faculty evaluations request form and return it to the Office of the Registrar one month before the session ends.

How do I obtain forms needed for advising purposes? The Office of the Registrar has printed copies for your use.  Or you can download the appropriate forms on the advising forms page.
