Greek Council

Greek Council

Greek Council has several purposes at The University of Findlay, including:

1.  Serving as a governing body for the Greek community,

2.  Providing a means of communication and cooperation between the Greek organizations,

3.  Presenting the needs and concerns of the Greek community to the faculty and administration, and

4.  Planning educational, social, service, and fundraising activities for the Greek community and general student body.

The Greek Council constitution ensures that each chapter is fairly represented in the membership and offices of the organization.  Different offices (president, vice-president, special events chair, etc.) are rotated through each of the chapters and elections are held in December of each year.

Greek Council meetings are held every Monday at 9:10 p.m. in Malcolm Lecture Hall.  The meetings are open to the entire Greek community, but voting privileges are only open to members of Greek Council.
