Leadership Training

Leadership Training

The Office Student Activities & Commuter Services
offers leadership training opportunities throughout the academic year.

Fall Leadership Retreat
Every spring, students returning for the fall semester are invited to pre-register to attend and participate in the fall leadership retreat co-sponsored by Campus Program Board (CPB) and the Offices of Student Activities & Commuter Services. The retreat is co-funded by Student Government Association (SGA).

The retreat varies in length and changes locations annually. Students choosing to attend multiple retreats will always have a new and/or different experience. The retreat offers students the opportunity to enhance existing leadership skills and learn new skills that will catalyze current and future leadership positions. It also provides networking opportunities.

Information regarding the fall retreat is made available at the end of the spring semester through the offices of Student Activities & Commuter Services. Returning students are encouraged to pre-register prior to leaving for the summer break. The incoming first year students are recruited during summer registrations. There is limited availability and registration is on a first come first serve basis.

The Student Activities & Commuter Services offices are located in the Alumni Memorial Union #8.  There is no fee to participate. However, pre-registration is required. Please have a valid UF I.D. available when registering for the retreat.
