Minutes Example Super Student Group Monday, September 14, 1998
I. CALL TO ORDER 9:30 P.M., Terry Conference Room II. ROLL CALL/APPROVAL OF MINUTES *Addition of community service project proposal under new business. III. AGENDA APPROVAL (Attendance Record) *Addition of community service project under old business. Members present: Christine Community, Pete Patriotic, Paula President, Tom Treasurer, Ann Committee, Blair Bright, Trent Talented, Molly Member, Mike Member, Sam Supporter, and Derrick Disruptive. Members absent: Terry Tardy, Susan Skips, and Aaron Absent. IV. OFFICER REPORTS a. TREASURER: $1,558.50 as of 9/12/94 in the budget with anticipated expenses of $250.00 for conference registration and potential income of $400.00 from fundraiser. b. PUBLIC RELATIONS: Hoping that the fundraising project will help get the SUPER GROUP name out on campus. Many thanks to the efforts of the committee! c. VICE PRESIDENT: There will be a brief meeting to explain details about travel to the leadership conference for those attending. Please stay after for approximately 10 minutes. We will need to set up a community service committee of 2-3 people during old business in order for planning to begin. V. COMMITTEE REPORTS a. FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: Tonight everyone receives his or her gift pack order forms. Samples of the gift items were displayed again with helpful marketing information. Remember to bring these forms back to each meeting in September. Deadline- September 26. VI. OLD BUSINESS a. COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: Vice President asks for volunteers to serve on this committee. Pete Patriotic and Christine Community volunteered and will meet with Vice President tomorrow for lunch to begin work.
VII. NEW BUSINESS No new business this week.
VIII. PRESIDENTS COMMENTS/REPORT Thanks again to the work of the fundraising committee. Members - please do our part to make sales move quickly. I look forward to attending leadership conference with Tom, Ann and Blair. Best of luck to the community service committee.
IX. ADVISOR COMMENTS/REPORTS Great job with following Robert Rules these past few meetings! Committees are doing a great job—keep it up! I have a Chamber of Commerce brochure that lists local service agencies and organizations that may be helpful to the Community Service Committee. X. ANNOUNCEMENTS Campus entertainer tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. in the Ritz-let’s all go together as a social gathering. XI. ADJOURN 10:40 p.m.
