•   Get paperwork done. It looks good when it’s turned in on time.  

 

• Learn how to identify and tap into leadership potential among the organization’s membership.

 

• Offer praise and recognition to individuals inside and outside your organization that provide assistance and support.

 

• Members should be accountable for their actions, (i.e. do not “pass the buck!”)  Admit mistakes and learn from them for the future. 

 

• Encourage membership and promote it's value to the group.

 

• Learn to say “no”. 

 

• Learn to delegate.

 

• Utilize all resources.  I.e.: written, faculty advisors, university administration and other student leaders.

 

• Maintain open lines of communication with organization officers, members, faculty, organization advisors, university administrators and staff. 

 

• Abide by The University of Findlay policies and regulations as outlined in the college catalog and on the UF webster.
