The University of Findlay - How to Propose a New Business

Do you have a great idea about starting a business on campus that may serve the campus community and/or the community?

1. Contact Paula Wolper, Director of Oiler Enterprises

2. Complete business plan (format will be provided).*

3. Find an advisor, it can be a faculty member or staff member.*

4. Submit business plan to the OE board by February 3.

5. Present ideas and plan to the OE board February 10.

6. February 13, Finalists for business plan competition announced.

7. April 12 Present at the Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity.

*Please note steps 2 and 3 should be done simultaneously.
