We are off and running!

Our Give Voice to Your Values campaign to raise $40 million in private support was officially launched on Sept. 30, 2010. Dr. Katherine Fell, president, announced that there was great enthusiasm for and momentum in the campaign, and that nearly $20million had been raised before the campaign “went public.”

The campaign will have three major priorities: Modern Learning Environments (bricks and mortar projects), a Sound Financial Future (endowment funds), and a Robust Operating Environment (annual gifts to the University).
  • Modern Learning Environments will include buildings, classrooms, laboratories, courts and fields and will provide state-of-the-art facilities for our students. Some projects have already been identified and new ones will be added as the University’s strategic planning process progresses.
  • A Sound Financial Future depends upon a strong and healthy endowment that can ensure financial stability and predictability.
  • A Robust Operating Environment ensures that the University has the cash to respond to emerging opportunities promptly and effectively. These gifts also allow us to keep tuition and fees at the lowest levels possible, making sure that the quality education we offer remains affordable to our students.

The University of Findlay is blessed with dedicated and caring alumni and with many, many friends who contribute more each year to the University. And I am pleased to report that the people who know the University the best – our faculty and staff – are contributing their own dollars to the University: indeed, the number of faculty and staff who made cash gifts last year tripled from the year before, and the total amount of dollars contributed also tripled.

We need your support. Please join with our faculty, staff
, alumni and friends to give voice to your values by making gifts that will ensure that the values you hold dear will continue to resonate in the classrooms, the laboratories, and across the campus for many generations of students to come.
