Mission
The purpose of the Division of University Advancement is to build, retain and enhance relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations whose experience with the University propels them to invest their time, talents and financial resources in sustaining and strengthening the institution. Functionally, this purpose is fulfilled by offering:
1. a consistent stream of communication that accurately informs, inspires and motivates;
2. multiple ways to become involved with the benefit from the University;
3. an exciting opportunity to build a lasting legacy by financially supporting the academic pursuits of young people.
Goals
Raising $15M in support for the University's endowment during the Give Voice to Your Values campaign to support the following student learning objectives: undergraduate research, service, study abroad and student scholarships.
Raising $20M in support of the University's capital project needs during the Give Voice to Your Values campaign, with a specific focus on projects that enhance student learning environments: a new science building, a new pre-vet building and a general new academic building.
