Our annual 5k race will be replaced with the Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio race. We always look for a great charity to benefit from our race and this year, it's with pleasure to welcome any of our alumni, parents, students, or friends of the University to participate in the Susan K. Komen race.

9 a.m................Alumni Association Annual Breakfast

 Enjoy breakfast with alumni from all over the nation while congratulating the 2013 Distinguished Alumni, and recipients of the Old Main Award, the Gold Medallion, the Arch Award (see pictures located in brochure) and the Class of 1963 on their Golden Anniversary. Alumni Board of Governors recommends the following to serve as board members for a three-year term:  Kevin Wolfe '94, Ryan Smith '00 '07, Phil Riegle '00 and Kayla Shannon '10.   The following officers need to be voted on:  President Julie McIntosh ’90, Vice President Susan Hite ‘87, and to eliminate the secretary position and have a staff member from the Alumni Office with no voting rights to take minutes and send correspondence to board members.

Dedication of the 1120 - Faculty/Student Research Lab and 1121 – Teaching Classroom from the Classes of 1963 and 2013. No pre-registration required.

Location: Davis Street Science Building, Lobby

11 a.m. – 2 p.m........................Pre-Homecoming Tailgate Event

 Rain or shine, join us for a classic car show, country cookout, inflatables, pony rides, balloon animals, face painting, games, and much more.  Proceeds from the Car Show will benefit Awakening Minds Art a local Findlay arts program for children and adults with special needs.  Bring the kids! Complimentary football tickets will be available for pick-up during the Tailgate and Celebration.

3 p.m................Football game Oilers vs. Michigan Tech

Come dressed in orange, black, and lots of creativity!!! Judges will be voting on and passing out gift cards to the most spirited Oiler & Oilerette students, most spirited student group in addition to the most spirited alumni/alumnus and most spirited family. All winners will be announced during the third quarter of the game along with the banner contest winners.

ENTER A CHANCE DURING HOMECOMING FESTITIVIES TO WIN A HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE.  THE LUCKY WINNERS (2) WILL BE DRAWN AT THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE OILER FOOTBALL GAME.  THE WINNERS WILL LAUNCH DURING HALF-TIME AT THE PRACTICE FIELD NEXT TO DONNELL STADIUM.  IN CASE OF RAIN, THE LAUNCH WILL BE THE MORNING OF SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2013.
