​Mission & Goals

The Office of Marketing and Communication supports the mission of The University of Findlay by offering full-service marketing communications to assist the University’s faculty, staff and students  in communicating effectively and efficiently with prospective students, alumni, media and other people with whom the University has relationships.
 

Goal 1

The Office of Marketing and Communication supports student learning by effective and efficient communication to students, faculty and staff regarding University information, events and people. Our goal will be to better serve the internal and external communities by, as we convert our current biweekly publication (FYI) to a weekly e-newsletter, to produce at least one feature story per college per semester.
 

Goal 2

The Office of Marketing and Communication supports student learning by effective and efficient communication by providing alumni, news media and other constituents with information about institutional, faculty, staff and student accomplishments. Our goal will be to increase external coverage of the institution by sending a minimum of one media pitch per week, or 48 per year. 
 

Goal 3

The Office of Marketing and Communication supports student learning by providing high-quality internships and graduate assistant positions to undergraduate and graduate students, respectively, of the University.
