This program is open to faculty, staff and/or students who will develop a plan to enhance the sustainability of The University of Findlay campus. Students participating in this program must have a faculty or staff sponsor to oversee budgeting and project completion. Proposals designed to become a permanent part of the University’s sustainability efforts will be preferred. Submit applications with proposed plans electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org
by Wednesday, November 24th.
A committee comprised of FGCI board members, a FGCI student rep and a Physical Plant representative will evaluate each submission. All applicants will be notified of the committee’s decisions by January 1st.
Upon selection, the individuals will be reimbursed up to $300 in order to implement their plan on campus. In addition, a $300 incentive will be distributed amongst the group members upon successful implementation of the proposal. (Note: applicants may request in advance that the $300 incentive be added to the funding available for implementation of the proposal.)
After completion of the FGCI Green Campus Grant, the individuals participating in the project plan may be asked to provide a follow-up written report and/or short presentation for the FGCI board.
