​GLOW Run FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Run Details


What? Be prepared to glow hard or go home as you walk, run, or dance through our 2.25 mile fluorescent trail around UF's campus. Proceeds from this glow run will go to the first UF-sponsored Habitat for Humanity home to be built in 2015. The proceeds will go toward a $10,000 matching grant through State Farm.


​​When? Saturday, April 5, 2014, Registration is from 7:00-7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union parking lot, 1000 N. Main St., Race is at 8:00 p.m.  Parking will be anywhere on campus.  Suggested parking is at the Winebrenner Theological Seminary on the corner of Main St. and Frazer St.

Where? On The University of Findlay campus

Who? All current UF students with a valid UF student ID can participate for free!  All faculty, staff, and community members are invited to join us for a $20 fee! The first 100 students with a valid UF student ID will receive a free neon t-shirt and 2 free glow bracelets. The first 150 community members (including faculty and staff) to register will get a free neon t-shirt and 2 free glow bracelets.  (Note: There is a designated number of sizes so arrive early to get the shirt of your choice.)

What else can I expect? Glow paint and additional glow accessories will be available for purchase at the race. The trail will be glowing as you enjoy this night run!

Why? We are lighting the night to raise funds for the first completely UF-sponsored Habitat for Humanity home!

Other details: This event is generously funded by the UF Student Government Association. No refunds will be granted and no rain date will be available.  Participants can register the day of the race, but pre-registration is preferred.

How can I sign up?


*Online registration is now closed.  You can arrive the day of the event (Saturday April 5) between 7:00-7:30 p.m. to register there.  Cash or checks only will be accepted at the registration table.
