The Office Student Activities, Commuter Services & Leadership Development offers leadership training opportunities throughout the academic year. Information pertaining to the main components of the leadership training can be found below.
Every
spring, students returning for the upcoming fall semester are invited to
pre-register to attend and participate in the fall leadership retreat sponsored by the Offices of Student
Activities, Commuter Services & Leadership Development. The retreat is co-funded by Campus Program Board (CPB) and Student
Government Association (SGA).
The retreat varies in length and changes
locations annually. Students choosing to attend multiple retreats will
always have a new and/or different experience. The retreat offers
students the opportunity to enhance existing leadership skills and learn
new skills that will catalyze current and future leadership positions.
It also provides networking opportunities.
Information regarding the fall retreat is
made available at the end of the spring semester through the Offices of
Student Activities, Commuter Services & Leadership Development. Returning students are
encouraged to pre-register prior to leaving for the summer break. The
incoming first year students are recruited during summer registrations.
There is limited availability and registration is on a first come first
serve basis.
There is no fee to participate. However, pre-registration is required.
Please have a valid UF I.D. available when registering for the retreat. The Student Activities,
