Pharmacy students have the opportunity to earn Pharmacy specific endowed scholarship in addition to their merit scholarships during their time at Findlay.

Brad Shinn Memorial

College of Pharmacy

Students in Findlay’s College of Pharmacy will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. Dr. Shinn was committed to inspiring pharmacy students to believe that they can truly make a difference in medication outcomes and the lives of their patients. In addition to teaching, he was especially interested in investigating and developing systems that better integrate the pharmacist in direct patient-care decision-making, optimizing the cost-effectiveness of drug therapy, and improving medication safety and the use of antimicrobial agents in institutional practice.

College of Pharmacy Advisory Board Endowment

​In conjunction with the 125th Endowed Funds Drive, the members of the College of Pharmacy Advisory Board established this fund to advance the academic priorities of the college.

College of Pharmacy Faculty Advancement Endowment Fund

​​The College of Pharmacy Faculty Advancement Endowment was established through the generous contributions from faculty members within the college of pharmacy. The distributions are intended to provide faculty members with additional resources to achieve a higher level of excellence by funding activities and/or resources over and above those funded by the College's normal operating budget. 

College of Pharmacy Founding Dean's Scholarship

​​​The College of Pharmacy Founding Dean's Scholarship Endowment Fund was established at the University of Findlay to honor Dr. Donald W. Stansloski by his friends and colleagues. Dr. Stansloski demonstrated leadership in the founding of the pharmacy collage in 2004 and inspired faculty and students for decades to be leaders in their own right. The recipients must be in their P5 or P6 year at the University of Findlay and demonstrate leadership. The recipients must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or above. 

Dallas & Cheryl Sterling Scholarship

College of Pharmacy

Dallas and Cheryl Sterling hereby establish the Dallas Sterling, R.Ph. and Cheryl Sterling Pharmacy Scholarship Endowment Fund at The University of Findlay.  Scholarship awards will be made annually.  Said awards shall be made from income and/or realized appreciation determined in accordance with the University’s investment and spending policy in effect from time to time.​

Dana R. Jackson, R.Ph., C.Ph. Scholarship

​​Mr. Dana R. Jackson, a 1974 Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy graduate has established this scholarship. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a Doctor of Pharmacy major (fifth or sixth year) and a resident of Hardin County, Ohio. This scholarship shall provide funds to purchase books. 

Donald W. Stansloski and Patricia Romans Stansloski Scholarship

​​Dr. Donald W. Stansloski and Patricia Romans Stansloski have established this scholarship to assist students who are Doctor of Pharmacy majors in their fifth or sixth year of study. Recipients shall have a 3.0 GPA or better.

Pharmacy Camp Alumni-P5/P6 Scholarship

​​​In conjunction with the Give Voice to your Values Campaign, the University of Findlay's College of Pharmacy faculty and staff established the Pharmacy Campu Alumni - P5/P6 Scholarship Endowment Fund. This scholarship awarded to a UF P5 or P6 student who attended the University of Findlay's College of Pharmacy Camp and is enrolled in the Pharmacy Program.​ 

Pharmacy Camp Enthusiast Scholarship

​​​​In conjunction with the Give Voice to your Values Campaign, the University of Findlay's College of Pharmacy faculty and staff established the Pharmacy Camp Enthusiast Scholarship Endowment Fund. This scholarship is awarded to an enrolled Pharmacy P5 or P6 student at the University of Findlay who participated in the College of Pharmacy Camp as a volunteer and/or counselor.​ 

Pharmacy Camp Scholarship

​In conjunction with the Give Voice to Your Values campaign, The University of Findlay's College of Pharmacy faculty and staff established the Pharmacy Camp Scholarship Endowment Fund. This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen who attended a UF Pharmacy camp during their junior or senior year of high school and are enrolled in the pharmacy program at The University of Findlay.​

Pharmacy Student Travel Scholarship

​​​​​​The Pharmacy Student Travel Scholarship Endowment Fund was established by Charles Mosler, William Ruse and the staff of the College of Pharmacy. Charles "Charlie" Mosler came to UF as a faculty member in 2010. He has a personal passion for travel and mission work, and wished to support UF's Pharmacy students as they pursue educational and philanthropic goals as part of their pharmacy careers. William "Bill" Ruse is a long-time friend of the College of Pharmacy, serving as the founding Chair of the College's Advisory Board. Bill shares Charlie's vision of supporting student travel as a means of adding value to pharmacy education. This scholarship is awarded to UF P2-P5 students who are enrolled in the pharmacy program at The University of Findlay. This award is available for students to expand their academic career through travel associated with their program. The recipient must have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or above.​

Richard and Patricia Dudley Award for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Science Research Endowment

​In conjunction with the Give Voice to Your Values campaign, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Dudley established the Richard and Patricia Dudley Award for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Science Research at The University of Findlay.  Dr. Richard Dudley and Patricia Dudley have a strong commitment to the education of student-pharmacists and are passionate about preparing the next generation of clinician-scientists. To assist in this preparation, they established this award which will support doctor of pharmacy students in any year of the program.  Recipients shall have a 3.5 GPA or better and display excellence in pharmaceutical science research.

School of Pharmacy Dean’s Excellence Endowment

​​​This endowment has been established to be used by the dean of the School of Pharmacy to advance the academic priorities of the school. It shall provide the dean with the resources needed to achieve a higher level of excellence by funding activities over and above those funded by the college’s normal operating budget.​ ​
