New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is August 13 through 16

We want to make sure that you start the year off right! Because of that, all new students are required to participate in The Oiler Experience! This is a four-day orientation weekend designed to help you settle into campus life, meet other new students and have a lot of fun!

Important News For New Oilers

Information regarding New Student Orientation will be coming your way later in the summer! Look for the complete schedule and e-packet in late July. New Student Orientation runs from August 13 – 16 and will lead into your first day of classes at UF. There will be activities for parents throughout the day on Friday ending with the Arch Ceremony, but keep in mind that we are working with area restaurants for Thursday and Friday evening to give our Oiler families a chance to enjoy some local eats. We typically suggest staying in Findlay on Thursday night to avoid an extra trip back for Friday. Always let area hotels know that you are in town for orientation as many offer a UF discount on their rates. Have a great summer and please let me know if you have any questions.
