CPA Track Requirements

Application to the Accounting CPA Track program is a two-step process.

If you are an undergraduate, international student, or applying to the MBA program, your first step is to apply.
Once accepted to The University of Findlay or the MBA program, students will prepare the information listed below for the Accounting Department of the College of Business to review. Current students should personally contact the Accounting Program Director with the same documentation.
Personal Essay - One to two pages, typed, double-spaced, entitled "Why I have chosen a career in Accounting".
Resume - a one-page resume should be submitted.
Letters of Recommendation - Three letters of recommendation. Letters should be from individuals that have knowledge of your academic and/or professional capability. This would include accounting faculty, faculty from other areas, current and/or former employers. For candidates currently enrolled in The University of Findlay's undergraduate accounting program, the review committee only requires two letters of recommendation outside of the Department of Accountancy.
Transcripts - Applicants may apply while completing their undergraduate degree requirements. If accepted, admission will be contingent upon providing proof of the degree. All applicants should have a minimum of 3.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. Undergraduate applicants should have at least an A- or better in Principles I and II.
