Inspire confidence, spark creativity, & enhance networking skills
The Future Leaders Initiative (FLI) is a program in which outstanding business sophomores and freshmen participate in professional development activities and events, as well as a professional mentorship. Every fall, 20 outstanding students are selected by College of Business faculty. Throughout the course of the year, those selected attend events, workshops, and conferences. The students are also paired with mentors from the field of business and meet periodically throughout the year.
The mission of FLI is to build the confidence of young business professionals by providing firsthand leadership, networking, and professional development experiences.
The goals of FLI are to:
- Inspire confidence
- Spark creativity and innovation
- Enhance networking and communication skills
- Improve comfort level when engaging with professionals
