Three internships, a variety of extracurricular activities and a
competitive drive make for an excellent résumé and a well-rounded
Miller’s hospitality management internship with The Westin Hotel in
Hilton Head, S.C., is the one Miller feels gave him the best experience.

graduated, that I used as a competitive advantage over other
graduates when competing for a full-time position,” said Miller.
“The faculty helped me to always push myself academically and become
more involved to gain more professional experience. The faculty on
campus have given me many opportunities to not only build up my résumé,
but also hold great student leadership positions,” said Mindy.

culinary staff member and resident assistant. Mindy also has gained
experience through working at the Village Café, a student-run
restaurant. At Walt Disney World, she has worked as a resort cast member
and blitz participant for the Swan and Dolphin Resort where she plans
to pursue a career upon graduation.

of Findlay have helped me to secure a number of job opportunities."
“I made my decision to come to Findlay because it just felt like
home the minute I stepped onto the campus the first time. The faculty
and student body have helped me to grow in many respects both socially
and academically,” said Mindy. “They have become my friends and family.”
Sport & Event Management
Interning with the Cleveland Browns in the Events Department, Ethan had a great experience. During his time there, he dove right into responsibilities and saw what it would be like in the professional world. Ethan saw how professionals conduct multiple events to positively impact the organization. "A large corporation operates between different departments to create a lasting product," which Ethan saw creates an amazing working environment for employees.
Upon graduation, Ethan aspires to work for a Division I Collegiate Athletic Department along with assisting UF students to help them reach their goals.
