Service Opportunities

Being a part of an environment of service to the community is an important part of your experience at The University of Findlay.  There are many service opportunities available on campus ranging from fundraisers hosted by student groups to the first-year Orientation Service Project event, during which hundreds of students, faculty and staff donate their time to help others in the community.

The University is a proud to have a robust chapter of Campus Compact, which is part of a national organization coordinated by students, faculty, staff and community agencies who seek to nurture service activities of many types with a belief that learning through service will benefit the individual as well as the community in lasting ways.

The University of Findlay is a member of the Ohio Campus Compact and the National Campus Compact, an organization of more than 930 colleges and universities which promotes volunteer service that develops students' citizenship skills and values, encourages collaborative partnerships between campuses and communities, and assists faculty who seek to integrate public and community engagement into their teaching and research.
