Explore the City of FindlayHancock County Courthouse

When you are ready to venture off-campus, take a walk down the city of Findlay’s Main Street to the row of restaurants and specialty shops. Or enjoy the city’s nightlife — coffeehouses, shopping at the mall and movie theatres.

Findlay also is a short drive from many fun places to spend a Saturday afternoon including Cedar Point Amusement Park and Lake Erie.

With a population of nearly 40,000 people, the city of Findlay is large enough to offer plenty of opportunities for shopping, dining out and evening adventures, but still offers a safe, community-focused atmosphere to live, work and study in.

Findlay, Ohio, has been designated a “dreamtown” by Demographics Daily, and it has been repeatedly named one of the top 10 “micropolitan” areas (small cities) in the U.S. by Site Selection magazine. Findlay is the only city in Ohio to have been named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young People three consecutive times by America’s Promise Alliance, an organization founded by Colin Powell.

We invite you to explore any of these websites to see all that the community has to offer.
