​​​Multi-Age Licensure

Add a Multi-Age License to your degree

A multi-age license in Ohio allows you to teach students ages 5-22.

If you already hold a bachelors degree from a nationally accredited institution then you may qualify for our post baccalaureate licensure program.

Our multi-age licensure program offers four different content areas.

  • Multi-Age Health and Physical Education

    • Completion of Ohio Department of Education approved licensure curriculum (individual curricula dependent upon approved transferrable coursework)

    • 3 level assessments (linked to coursework)

    • The following state required tests:  Assessment of Multi-Age (PK-12) (#004), OAE Physical Education #034, Praxis II Health #5511

    • Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and pass all three level assessments and state required tests to earn a Letter of Program Completion

  • Multi-Age Japanese

    • Completion of Ohio Department of Education approved licensure curriculum (individual curricula dependent upon approved transferrable coursework)

    • 3 levels of assessment (linked to coursework)

    • The following state required tests:  Assessment of Multi-Age (PK-12) (#004), ACTFL score of Intermediate/High on Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and Writing Proficiency Test (WPT)

    • Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and pass all three level assessments and state required tests to earn a Letter of Program Completion
  • Multi-Age Spanish

    • Completion of Ohio Department of Education approved licensure curriculum (individual curricula dependent upon approved transferrable coursework)

    • 3 level assessments (linked to coursework)

    • The following state required tests:  Assessment of Multi-Age (PK-12) (#004), OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview), WPT (Writing Proficiency Test)

    • Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and pass all three level assessments and state required tests to earn a Letter of Program Completion

  • Multi-Age Visual Arts

    • Completion of Ohio Department of Education approved licensure curriculum (individual curricula dependent upon approved transferrable coursework)

    • 3 level assessments (linked to coursework)

    • The following state required tests:  Assessment of Multi-Age (PK-12) (#004), OAE Art #006

    • Students must maintain a 3.00 GPA and pass all three level assessments and state required tests to earn a Letter of Program Completion
