The University of Findlay’s traditional occupational therapy program is offered in a combined bachelor’s/masters format. It is not a post-baccalaureate program where the student receives a bachelor’s degree in another subject and then applies to graduate school. Our program provides 3.5 years. of professional coursework; two years at the undergraduate level and 1.5 years at the graduate level. While we welcome transfer students the OT program was specifically designed for students to receive a master’s degree in 5.5 years.
Transfer students may take longer to complete their degree. Once students are accepted into the professional program, as long as they successfully complete the coursework and follow program/university policies, they will move seamlessly from the undergraduate to graduate level. (No GRE’s required!).
If you are transferring to UF prior to the completion of a bachelor's degree you will apply to the traditional program.
It is suggested that you apply to UF (fill out the undergraduate transfer application), send official transcripts to the undergraduate admissions office to be evaluated, and then call to set up an appointment to meet with an OT advisor to discuss the different options available
Please refer to the transfer information page to learn more about how to apply to the program as a transfer student.
