  • A Professional Practice Experience (internship) is required in the program​
    • Internship placement as close to student’s home as possible​
    • Unpaid internships, but valuable “bridge” into workforce
    • Leading students to the broadest range of job opportunities for graduates
  • AHIMA Virtual Lab Software
    • Suite of software applications which students use to practice and build skills
    • Includes the Cerner PowerChart Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
