The Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery presents eight to ten exhibition s throughout the year, including works by students, faculty, and regional and national artists. Students engage with exhibiting artists through gallery talks, classroom demonstrations, and public presentations. The Lea Gallery also provides opportunities for students to participate in the organization, preparation, installation and evaluation of shows.
Each spring, the Student Art and Design Juried Exhibition recognizes students for outstanding work in the visual arts and the Senior Exhibitions feature the work of graduating seniors.
Hours: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily during scheduled exhibitions.
Location: Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion on the campus of the University of Findlay.
All exhibitions are free and open to the public.

Senior Art Exhibition

Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery
Three University of Findlay students will showcase their finest works in the Senior Art Exhibition.
Participating seniors include:
Rebecca Kowalski - She is a children’s book illustration major and graphic design minor from Oberlin, Ohio. She has nine pieces in the show, including
drawings, prints and collages. She
is currently completing an internship experience with the Mazza Museum, and has worked extensively with the theatre program over the last two years both on
stage and back stage, recently playing the role of Mother Hicks in the fall
production of Mother Hicks.
Emily Ludwig - She is an art major and an art history minor from Findlay, Ohio. She has 12 abstract oil paintings in the
show. She has volunteered at the Mazza Museum, organized art program events, and completed an
internship with the Toledo Museum of Art. She was recently nominated by the University of Findlay Art Program to
participate in the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio
Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts competition.
Kara Scherger - She is a double major in art and multi-age visual arts education from New Riegel, Ohio. She has ten pieces in the show, including drawings, prints and paintings. She was a four-year member of the University of Findlay women's volleyball team and has been named to the dean's list each semester. She is currently completing her student teaching at Carey elementary school with Findlay alum Sarah Rohrer serving as her cooperating teacher.
