Why University of Findlay?

  • Small class sizes with a student-centered focus
  • You will be a part of four mainstage productions in your freshman year
  • Career building internships, travel and study abroad opportunities

The theatre program provides a supportive and collaborative atmosphere for its students. Students work within a creative ensemble to grow as artists. Our program is very similar to a small professional theatre company where our actors and designers work together on the entire production process enabling everyone to gain and develop practical skills.

Students of any major can be a part of the theatre program by auditioning for shows or participating backstage. Click here to view the upcoming production season.

Alumni Spotlight

Preston Eberlyn
"The University of Findlay provided an overall education that allowed me to pursue my passions. One of the truths of theatre is that you have to be well-rounded in order to be a better actor and fully understand the show that you're working on. Coming to Findlay allowed me to double-major in theatre and political science, and become both a better person and a better professional."

Preston Eberlyn '15 | Theatre & Political Science Graduate

Now residing in Columbus, OH, Preston serves as the Assistant Director of Strategic Research Group.
