TESOL points of pride

All core classes are taught by highly qualified and experienced professors holding no less than a doctoral degree.

Over 90% of our courses are taught by full-time University of Findlay professors. Your courses will not be taught by students pursuing higher degrees.

Our professors working for the TESOL/Bilingual program are bilingual.

The curriculum was built with only the professional needs of ESL/bilingual teachers in mind. There are no extra courses from other departments.

Students within the program come from a variety of backgrounds, both domestic and international
Personalized attention for our students is our trademark.

We provide unique volunteer experiences within our local school systems to supplement our master level in-class training.

Volunteer Programs

We work closely with the community and local schools to provide enriching learning and teaching experiences for our students.  We strongly encourage you to participate in these outreach programs as we believe that hands-on practice and professional mentorship enhances your teaching skills.
