New Student Registration is a one-day event in which new students will register for classes. During this exciting day, your student will meet with a faculty advisor, take their placement tests and much more. All first-time freshmen and transfer students must attend one registration date.
We ask all new parents of registered students to fill out a new parent form so we can get to know you better and your preferences. Only parents of students who have registered for classes should fill out the form linked above. If you provide your mailing address in the form we'll even send you a UF Parent window cling to proudly display on your vehicle, laptop, or water bottle.
The Access Portal is a service that allows UF students to grant access to their education records through an online tool. According to FERPA, parents/guardians must receive permission for this access before they can view certain records, including end-of-semester grades and financial aid information.
