The 2020 Internship Recognition Dinner will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020
The CCPD hosts this annual event each spring to recognize interns and site supervisors from that spring, and previous fall and summer semesters. During the dinner, attending interns have the opportunity to share a few highlights and takeaways from their internships. Additionally, we award the Intern of the Year! The winner is chosen from those who have been nominated by their supervisor. A selection committee comprised of faculty and staff review anonymized nomination forms to make their selection.
Interns: How to become eligible
To be eligible to be nominated for the Intern of the Year award, the internship was:
- Reported through the CCPD
- Off campus
- Paid or unpaid
- For credit or not for credit
- Not the result of being "placed" by your program (i.e. student teaching, clinicals, etc.)
Employers: How to become involved
If you hosted a UF internship that met the above criteria, you will receive an invitation to this event. You will also have the chance to electronically nominate your intern(s) if you feel they went above and beyond!
We appreciate your willingness to host our students and also providing them with a quality experience. You help us to better meet our mission of equipping students for meaningful lives and productive careers.
