Student Emergency Fund

The rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation has had a tremendous financial impact on our students. We recognize the uncertainty that University of Findlay students and families are facing and want to help our students have access to emergency funds. The campus community has raised money to support Findlay students who experience an accident, illness, financial hardship, or other emergency situation that may jeopardize their ability to continue their education.

The Student Emergency Fund provides financial support in the form of a one-time grant of up to $500 to a limited number University of Findlay students who are facing financial hardship resulting from unexpected emergency situations including, but are not limited to:

  • accidents,
  • illness,
  • extenuating family circumstances,
  • an act of nature,
  • or other extreme difficulties.

Please keep in mind that the total in the fund is limited, and it will not support every application.

This funding is not intended to replace or supplement existing financial aid and does not have to be repaid. Students may apply for funds when they have exhausted all other resources.

To apply, please complete and submit the online application linked below. Applications will be reviewed by a committee,

and will be replied to within five business days.

If you cannot complete the application electronically or have any questions, please call UF's Oiler Success Center at 419-434-5680 between the hours of 9:00-4:00 Monday-Friday or email [email protected].
