EHAC Accredited Online Master of Environmental Safety
The University of Findlay’s online Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management (ESH) degree is designed to provide the necessary skills needed to make managerial decisions and provide leadership in environmental, safety and occupational health careers. The MESH program is accredited by the Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC).

Graduates will be able to:
Understand executive, strategic and operational business concepts as they apply to ESH issues.
Use quantitative mathematical/statistical methods as well as program-specific computer applications and online tools to assess and interpret data and other information whether it is of laboratory, field, engineering, financial or managerial origin.
Apply the leadership, facilitation, negotiation and coordination techniques that are effectively used to address ESH issues among employees, organizations, communities and nations.
Solve problems in selected areas of regulatory compliance and enforcement; basic and applied ESH science; engineering controls for risk reduction; behavior- and audit-based hazard management systems; functional ESH and project administrative tasks.
Integrate business knowledge, analytical skills, managerial skills and technical knowledge into effective actions and presentations.
Students enrolled in the online Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management are required to complete 33 semester hours of course work.
Students admitted in the online MESH program can choose to complete a certificate program (15 semester hours) either in addition to, or independent of, completing other core degree requirements. The certificates are designed to provide focused professional education for ESH managers in one or more specialized areas.

Textbook Rental Program:
Students who are local:
Present UF ID at the Bookstore (UF ID can be obtained at the information desk at the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU)).
Fill out a Rental Agreement Form (in the event the textbook is not returned at the end of the semester).
Students who are distance learning:
Obtain Rental Forms online at http://shop.findlay.edu.
Complete and fax or mail Rental Form and a photo copy of ID (UF or Driver’s License) to the Bookstore.
Will receive textbooks via UPS (there is a shipping charge).
Items to note:
Textbooks are made available two weeks before class starts.
Textbooks need to be returned (or postmarked) by the date stated on the Rental Agreement.
Due to the Rental Agreement being a contract, the ENVM student must be the one to fill out the form and pick up the text.
The main textbook is covered under the Rental Agreement; any additional materials requested by faculty would be responsibility of the student.
