At Findlay, you can earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in as short as one year by taking courses on campus, online or in a convenient blend of both.
Courses are offered in eight-week blocks throughout the fall, spring and summer semesters and you can enroll to begin classes during any semester. You can complete your MBA by taking as little as 11 courses (33 semester hours) fully online. To enhance your degree and customize it to fit your career goals, we also offer the following concentrations:

Students seeking additional expertise in a specific area can earn a second concentration by adding just a couple more courses. The MBA program offers the following second concentrations:

MBA core courses teach how business and management work and how they relate to the external environment. MBA students are introduced to the functional activities of organizations, learn managerial skills and the use of analytical tools for decision making. In the MBA program, you will be able to apply the skills learned throughout coursework into your current job right away.

The MBA program is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in business. For students without an undergraduate business degree, the University of Findlay offers prerequisite courses designed to help assure you are prepared to succeed in the MBA program. Based on a review of students’ undergraduate transcripts, students will be notified which (if any) of the following prerequisite courses will be required before starting the MBA core courses.

Economics: Macroeconomics and Microeconomics
Finance: Principles of Finance
