Hands-on Learning at Two Training Sites

Nationally Recognized All Hazards Training Center

UF is the only university in the United States that integrates an academic program with a nationally recognized five acre emergency response training site.

Since 1986, UF's All Hazards Training Center has trained over 175,000 professionals in a wide range of safety, security and environmental management workshops.  UF undergraduate students benefit from this same professional training in the Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management program.

Renninger Training Center

The Renninger Training Center on main campus features a large interior space for training in OSHA requirements, confined space entry/rescue, personal protective equipment and other topics.  Students gain experience using a confined space training station, decontamination tent and hazardous materials storage.
