​​​Rusty Miller


Rusty Miller opened Rusty Miller Show Horses immediately after graduating from the University of Findlay in 1984 with a B.S. in Equestrian Studies. He has been training, coaching, and showing within multiple breed associations ever since.  In 2008, Rusty received the coveted Appaloosa Horse Club Trainer of the Year.  This accomplishment was a validation of his success with his clients winning over 130+ National and World Championships, while personally earning over 40+ World and National Championships.
 
In addition to the ApHC, Miller is involved with several other breed associations including the American Paint Horse Association, the Palomino Horse Breeders Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. Over the years, he has won numerous World and Reserve World Champions in the Paint Horse Association and Palomino Horse Breeders Association.  He has trained and coached exhibitors to multiple Reserve Championship titles and numerous Top 10 placings at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, along with Year End High Point awards within the AQHA.


Sue King


Sue King instructs equestrian students in the eventing area of focus for the program. Eventing includes the disciplines of dressage, cross-country and show jumping. King has competed in and taught three-day eventing for 30 years. She has taught, trained, and competed through intermediate levels of riding. King​ graduated from Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio, and holds a master’s degree in education from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. After building multiple programs around the country, King has drawn on her past experience to create a top eventing program at the University of Findlay.









Brittany Veninger


Brittany Veninger is a graduate of the University of Findlay. In May of 2015, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S, double majoring in English Equestrian Studies and Marketing, with a minor in International Business. She then continued her education at the University of Findlay graduating with an MBA in Organizational Leadership in May of 2017.

During her undergraduate years, she was captain of the IHSA Hunt Seat Team and went on to be the graduate assistant for the ​University's riding program and IHSA team. She has coached students to IHSA national champion titles, reserve national championship titles, and top ten finishes.  

Upon graduating her master's program, Brittany worked at Limelight Farm in Bedford, N.Y. as an assistant trainer. She was responsible for the day-to-day running of the facility along with teaching riders of all ages and skill levels. She took students to numerous AA rated horse shows, prepped top show horses for sale and competition, and coached a successful IEA team. 

Brittany then had the opportunity to become an assistant coach at Bridgewater College. At Bridgewater she coached a top 3 finisher at IHSA Nationals, as well as the champion of the IHSA Metropolitan Equitation Finals held at The Longines Masters of New York. In addition to coaching she taught a number of on campus equine classes, and was a riding instructor for the equestrian program. 

Brittany is now the head coach of University of Findlay's IHSA Hunt Seat Team, and the Hunter/Jumper instructor for the riding program.

Jill Jewett​

Jill Jewett has been involved in the equine industry for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Findlay in 1988, her experiences include over 20 years at The University of Findlay as an equestrian/pre-vet admissions coordinator, instructor, trainer, and camp coordinator. Jill has competed at USEA recognized horse trials through the preliminary level and has shown at USDF and USHJA recognized competitions. In addition, she has roots in western riding and has an appreciation for all breeds and disciplines.
 
Jill also has been judging for over 20 years and has had an USEF “r" license in Hunters, Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation, and Jumpers since 2012. She became the Head English Trainer for St. George Equestrian Center in 2012, Whitehouse, Ohio and successfully coached Bowling Green State University's Hunt Seat Equestrian Team from 2012-2016. Jill continues to develop effective riders in dressage and jumping that have a solid position. Her passion is evident as she loves helping riders of all ages reach their goals and fulfill their dreams while developing horses to their greatest potential. Jill returned to the University of Findlay's English equestrian program in 2019 as an instructor and is also the Head Coach for the IDA team.
