The Steering Committee will oversee all phases of the project and will hold it accountable to timelines and project success. They will also ensure the project resides by our Guiding Principles and Goals established by the Steering Committee for the Workday project. A primary function of the Steering Committee will be vetting any desired changes to Workday’s best practice methodologies. Our guiding principles state we will “Embrace the solution as is”, meaning any deviation will require justification based on a need for competitive advantage or a similar case.

Any Project Champions/SMEs that are making functional decisions who can provide background information for a particular agenda item. Members from this group are often asked to attend on an as needed basis – Tony Goedde (Student), Kim Henley (HR), Dane Erford (Financials), Phil Lucas (Faculty Senate President).
Along with the Steering Committee, an ERP Selection Committee was comprised of approximately 45 individuals from all sectors of campus (representing students, faculty and staff) who were involved in the initial review and selection process.
