These comments will be addressed through the Workday Wednesday series and posted on this page as a reference. How does Workday Student interact with HCM and FIN? Student, FIN, and HCM are all part of the Workday system and do not require logging in to separate systems to use each module. Workday Student seamlessly integrates with HCM and FIN, allowing the University to achieve enrollment and revenue goals while supporting student learning. Can Workday Student integrate with Canvas? Yes, Workday Student has the ability to integrate with Canvas in multiple ways. Also, Workday Student is not a replacement for Canvas; we will be continuing with Canvas as UF’s Learning Management System. Can Workday Student track non-academic requirements and extracurricular accomplishments? Yes, Workday Student can be used to track activities such as internships, community service, and study abroad programs. Workday Student can also be used to manage teaching models such as badging and competency-based learning. Transcripts can be enhanced by tracking both academic coursework and highlighting other skills, which aids with the job search process for students. How will payments be made? Will there be a cashiering system built into Workday, or will we continue to use CashNet? The University is keeping CashNet as the cashiering system for all monies received (such as student accounts, general ledger, etc.).
