The need for qualified physician assistants continues to grow.
The United States Bureau of Labor Statistics
stated that employment of physician assistants is expected to grow by 30 percent from 2014 to 2024, much faster than average for all occupations.
Physician assistant jobs are ranked among the fastest growing occupations due to anticipated expansion of the health care industry and an emphasis on cost containment, resulting in increasing utilization of PAs by physicians and health care institutions.
