Maybe you want to to work in the world of horses, but not necessarily as a rider or trainer?
With $40 billion generated each year in the horse industry, there is a need for equine-savvy professionals with training in economics, law, accounting and marketing.
Graduates of our program receive a bachelor of science degree which can lead to several career options, including:
Auction or show manager
Therapeutic riding center director
Farm/ranch business manager
Equine tax specialist
Equine insurance agent
Breed association official
UF’s equine business management program combines equine science courses with traditional business administration classes. We offer courses including equine marketing and equine law, along with more “practical” education in barn and livestock management, disease prevention, and selecting and operating farm machinery.
