How Do I Pay for Textbooks?
To pay by Credit Card or PayPal
Enter the website at the button “Let's Get Started" in the middle of the page.
At checkout you will enter your Credit Card or PayPal Information.
To Charge books to your Student Account
Students who would like to set up a voucher (financial aid, scholarship etc...) can do so through Workday. Here are the instructions as to how to set up a voucher.
If you have any addition questions about setting up a voucher, please contact the Business Office at [email protected].
Once a voucher has been set up the student will receive an email with a voucher number. To purchase with the voucher go to
https://bncvirtual.com/findlay. In the middle of the webpage there is the message line “Do you want to use your Voucher"
with a button that says “Use it Here". Click on the button. Enter your UF ID # and the Voucher ID #. Click on “Access Your
Textbooks that are charged to your student account become part of your student bill and payment is required.
Click “Lets Get Started"
Enter the Prefix of Course for example CHEM, ENGL, MATH, etc.
Enter Course Number
Enter Course Section
ATTENTION! Select the Correct Course SECTION
For example, if you are enrolled in CHEM 111 02, it means you are in Section 2. If the listing says CHEM 111 (1-3) or (ALL), it means the textbooks listed for this course include sections 1, 2, & 3 or All Sections. Some sections of a course may not use the same book as the other sections. Please, do not order a different section's book if your section is not listed. Check back at the website at a later date or contact the Bookstore at 419-434-4561 or [email protected]
HELP!! My Course is listed as Out of Stock!
If your book is out of stock, please order it along with your other books and the text will be sent to you when it is back in stock at no charge.
After selecting your courses, click at the bottom of the page View Your Materials
Select the Format of Book
You may be offered the option of purchasing new, used, rental, e-books or Cengage Unlimited. Books are listed as Required, Recommended, or Optional (sometimes noted as Alternative to Required). Please read any clarifying notes accompanying the course materials.
Proceed to Checkout & Shipping
Students can select “Ship to School Address" or “Home Address When your order ships, an email will be sent with tracking information. Students who have orders shipped to the Bookstore can pick up their boxes at the Bookstore at 301 Davis St. (located in the College of Business Building). Please remember to bring a photo ID. Please keep the boxes your textbooks come in if you need to return them at the end of the semester. Break the boxes down and store under your bed or in your closet. Please purchase mail certified tape to close your boxes. Do not use scotch, duck, masking or painter's tapes.
How do I receive E-BOOKS or ACCESS CODES?
Log-in to your account, click on Menu and then Digital Content. Most digital books will be available to download from the site. Access codes may be emailed or postal mailed.
What if I “DROP A CLASS" and need to RETURN a book to MBS Direct?
Log-in to your account and click on your order. Follow the instructions to begin the return process. Return instructions along with a packing slip and a shipping label are provided for you to print. Enclose the packing slip in your box and include all items that are listed. Package your books carefully so they are not damaged during shipment and use mail certified tape to close your package. Do not use scotch, duck, masking, or painter's tape as it will not withstand the vigorous handling or conditions during shipping. Make sure your return label is completely surrounded by tape on your box. UPS label packages can be brought to Postal Services at Old Main.
HELP! MY BOOKS HAVE NOT ARRIVED!
Log-in to your account and click on your account to view your order. Look for a shipping tracking number. Click on the tracking # link to view details of the shipment. If you still cannot locate package contact the Bookstore at 419-434-4561.
GUARANTEED BUYBACK & RENTAL Books
An option that is offered by UF's online site to students is Guaranteed Buyback books which are indicated with the symbol “$" along with the guaranteed price quote you will be paid upon selling it back displayed next to the photo of the text when you view your materials on UF's online site. Guaranteed Buyback books and Rental books have to be returned to the online site and cannot be sold in the campus store during the buyback event held during final exam week. Not sure if the book is Guaranteed Buyback or Rental? Check your UF Bookstore online site account. Return your Guaranteed Buyback books by the due date to receive the highest price quoted for your materials and your rental books by the specified date. If you fail to return rental books, you will be charged the difference between the full cost of the book and the rental price.
How to RETURN GUARANTEED BUYBACK or RENTAL books to MBS Direct
Log-in to your UF Online Bookstore account and click on your order. Follow the instructions to begin the return process. Return instructions along with a packing slip and a pre-paid shipping label are provided for you to print. Enclose the packing slip in your box and include all items that are listed on your buyback or rental quote. Package your books carefully so they are not damaged during shipment and use mail certified tape to close your package. Do not use scotch, duck, masking, or painter's tape as it will not withstand the vigorous handling or conditions during shipping. Make sure your return label is completely surrounded by tape on your box. UPS prepaid label packages can be brought to Postal Services at Old Main for UPS pickup.
OOPS! I DAMAGED my Guaranteed Buyback or Rental Books? Damaged books will not be accepted for Guaranteed Buyback or Rental Returns. Stains or water damage; missing or torn pages or cover; excessive writing on the pages or book edges; a broken spine, or torn or damaged binding. Do not write in your books with an ink pen. Highlighting is allowed in moderation.

University of Findlay Partners with Largest Textbook Supplier in Nation to Provide Online Textbook Sales
The University of Findlay's Ruscilli Family Bookstore is pleased to announce that they have partnered with MBS Direct, the largest supplier of textbooks in the nation, to offer online textbook ordering to students. Through this partnership, students can order books when it is convenient for them through the new online site and have them shipped directly to their home or they can ship them to the Bookstore and pick them up there.
The cost of textbooks will now be more competitive with other online retailers as well.
- Students can access the online Bookstore 24/7, go to Findlay.edu and search “Bookstore".
- Our online Bookstore maintains a current list of our courses and materials, and in the event of a change, they will promptly notify students
- Students may sell back their textbooks using a convenient online buyback option
- Orders are shipped via UPS within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays
- 100% return policy. Course materials must be returned within two weeks after class starts or within 21 days of being shipped, whichever is later
