Matching Gifts: Double Your Impact

Matching gift programs are a powerful way to maximize the impact of your investment in The University of Findlay.

Through matching gift programs offered by thousands of employers, you can double the value of your gift at no cost to yourself. In addition to matching charitable donations of their employees, some companies will also match donations made by spouses, retirees, and even members of their corporate board of directors.

How to Make a Matching Gift

Some matching programs will automatically match gifts made through payroll deductions, eliminating the need to complete a matching gift application. For more information on making gifts to The University of Findlay through payroll deductions, contact your company's Human Resources Department.  Even if your employer is not listed in the online directory below, please check with your benefits manager.

Some companies without formal matching gift or charity programs will match your gift, if you ask. Then, follow the steps listed below to complete the process.
  1. Request a matching gift application from your benefits manager or Human Resources Department. Matching policies vary and certain restrictions apply, so please read your company’s matching gift program rules.
  2. Take a minute to complete the matching gift application process. Some companies have web-based or automated phone application processes. Paper applications may be returned, along with your gift, to: University Advancement, The University of Findlay, 1000 N. Main Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840.

  3. UF will verify receipt of your gift and complete the process. Your employer will send an additional gift to Findlay on your behalf!
