Campus Ministry

The mission of UF's Campus Ministry is to advance God's kingdom through discipleship. We plan to do that by forming students to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do as Jesus did (Matthew 4:19)

The vision that will guide us for the next several years is to have a campus filled with multiplying disciples, led by equipped student leaders who create life-giving ministry contexts that bear lasting fruit

The University of Findlay students are presented with a wide variety of on-campus Christian fellowship and discipleship opportunities. Every Thursday night, students gather together in song and prayer at Revive, the student-led campus worship service.  Throughout the week, smaller groups gather to study God's Word together, spending time in prayer and reflection.

Finally, students are invited to engage actively in spiritual accountability with on-campus peer-to-peer mentoring. Students are equipped to be the disciple makers during their time at the University of Findlay.

Sunday Worship

Dozens of worship opportunities, from any number of denominational traditions, are available throughout the Findlay community. Two such opportunities meet on campus (listed below), both of which are Churches of God, General Conference congregations. The College First Church of God has been a part of the University of Findlay Community since 1888, just two years after the university started classes.

Services:

  • Traditional Services offered each Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m. in College First Church of God
  • Contemporary Service offered each Sunday at 10 a.m. in Winebrenner Auditorium

Revive

Revive is a weekly on-campus contemporary student-led worship service.

Hundreds of Findlay students come together each week for worship in song, prayer, Scripture reading, reflection, and community. Revive stands as an extension of the body of Christ – a community of hope and love, theologically-grounded and immersed in praise.

Students from all denominational backgrounds are invited on Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. to come to the Winebrenner auditorium and join with others in heartfelt praise to God!

Covenant Connect

Covenant Connect seeks to foster mutual encouragement in Christ.

Covenant Connect matches students with those who desire spiritual guidance and insight with those who have a measure of wisdom and experience to give (typically matching freshmen with upperclassmen).

Covenant Connect provides much-needed accountability to both partners, helping to establish and maintain connections between believers that might not otherwise happen!
