Student Recreation Center at the University of Findlay

The Student Recreation Center opened on September 15, 2010 to the delight of the student body.

UF students had a major voice in the $1.5 million dollar renovation project as many of the features and offerings in the recreation center were chosen by the students.

The student recreation center offers a multipurpose area lined for one basketball court, three volleyball courts, and one tennis court, a three-lane walking/jogging track, a climbing wall, one racquetball court, video wall area, two billiards tables, two ping pong tables, equipment check out area, locker rooms, two aerobics areas, a 3,500 square foot weight room, a 5,500 square foot cardio center overlooking the entire recreation center and a juice bar area.

The new facility has garnered industry honors: In December 2011, the American Sports Builders Association recognized the Student Recreation Center for excellence in sports facility construction with an award for an outstanding venue in the indoor multi-purpose facility division.
