Summer Camps

​​​Summer camps at the University of Findlay will give you a chance to gain valuable hands-on experience with talented professionals in your area of interest. What better to spend a part of your summer?

Move your world forward! From athletics to forensic science and horsemanship, we're proud to offer a variety of enriching camps for all ages!

While summer is a time to take a break from the classroom, it doesn't have to be a break from learning and getting better at something you have a passion for. Explore all the opportunities here and find something to help make your summer fun and educational!

Eventing Camp


Eventing Camp is a skill-based instructional experience for the serious equestrian. Students will ride two times per day and receive interactive lectures.

  • Dates: June 17-22
  • Tuition: $1,200 which includes room, board, two lessons per day, stall, bedding, hay/grain and transport to and from campus

Youth Western Horsemanship Camp

Students will work with their own horses under the supervision of the equestrian staff. Instruction will include horsemanship, western pleasure, showmanship, training, showing and the fundamentals of reining.

Plan A: $180 (Overnight on campus with meals)
Plan B: $145 (Commuters with Lunch/Dinner)
Plan C: $110 (Commuters - no meals)
Plan D: $190 (Overnight in Hotel with meals)
Plan E: $165 (Overnight in Hotel - no meals)

What you get:
  • All-you-can-eat meals (Lunch & Dinner only)
  • Will play a minimum of 7 games
  • Individual and team awards
  • Each camper and assistant coach receives a t-shirt
  • 5 facilities / 14 courts (9 air conditioned)

The Well: Summer Theology Institute


A free week-long summer institute focused on understanding the role of faith in all aspects of our lives including career and leadership opportunities. Participants will explore meaningful theological questions together, reflecting on the moral dimensions of contemporary issues and examining how their lives are affected.

Forensic Science Summer Camp

A five-day camp for high school students providing an introduction to the world of forensic science, involving the use of:

This camp will show you what's really involved and gives you an understanding of what forensic science is all about.

Football Camps

​​​​​Elite Prospect Camps

Held this summer for high school aged players, grades 9-12, looking to show their ability to the Oilers coaching staff and also develop their skills as a player.

Both camps will be held on campus at the Koehler Fitness & Recreation Center Complex (1212 North Main Street, Findlay, OH 45840). Athletes will need to bring tennis shoes, cleats, shorts, and a t-shirt (no helmets are needed). Players will work with the Findlay coaching staff as well as with other college coaches from around the region. Each year, the Oilers sign players who have attended and performed at one of these camps, so sign up today.
