Valerie Escobedo teaches introductory through senior level courses in painting, drawing, printmaking and 2-D design.
She attended Bowling Green State University where she earned a BFA in two-dimensional studies, and she completed her MFA degree in painting at Miami University in Oxford, OH. Currently, Valerie serves as the Chair for the Department of Visual and Performing Arts.
Recent exhibitions include Americas 2012: All Media at the Hartnett Hall Gallery in Minot, ND; Small Works at Harper College in Palatine, IL; Expo 31 at the BJ Spoke Gallery in Huntington, NY; and Artful Teaching at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, OH. She has also been selected for the 2010 and 2012 International Painting Annuals published by Manifest Press.
