  • Nicole’s research goal is to examine the efficacy of physical therapy interventions to improve strength and athletic performance, specifically in the female population. To achieve this goal, she utilizes clinical and randomized controlled trials that are theory-driven and evidence-based. Ultimately, she intends to refine the delivery of rehabilitation approaches aimed at improving strength and function for the female population.

Nicole focuses her teaching efforts on providing student-centered learning to develop clinical reasoning skills with the ability to perform an examination and evaluation of a non-complex patient. Nicole also teaches a selected topics course to prepare students to successfully complete the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist examination.
