U.S. News & World Report
The University of Findlay has earned top rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s annual survey of “America’s Best Colleges” for 12 consecutive years. UF jumped to No. 38 on the list, from No. 56 last year. The University was among only 80 colleges and universities in the country evaluated by U.S. News and World report to increase 10 or more spots in this annual ranking. The 2018 rankings also name UF as one of its 13 best Midwest universities for most international diversity.
Wall Street Journal
The University of Findlay was named to the Wall Street Journal’s 2017 College Rankings. We are particularly proud of this honor because it is a result of surveys designed to answer questions that matter most to students and families including: Does the college have plenty of resources to teach me properly? Will I get enough access to my teacher? And How likely an I to graduate, pay off my loans and get a good job?
The University of Findlay is one of the best colleges in the Midwest according to The Princeton Review. The nationally-known education services company recommends the school as one of 159 institutions in twelve Midwestern states it names to its “Best in the Midwest” list for 2016.
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll
UF is named to Phi Theta Kappa's Community College Transfer Honor Roll for providing students from those institutions with exceptional pathways to four-year degrees. UF is one of 40 named to the inaugural list compiled by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, which recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students by providing leadership and service opportunities.

Victory Media Inc. named the University to its Military Friendly Schools(R) list for 2013, 2011, 2010 and 2017. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools the at are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses as students to ensure their success on campus.

In 2013 The University of Findlay received two top honors from America in Bloom for campus beauty: Outstanding Achievement for Environmental Efforts and a special mention for Community’s Overall Impression.
Chronicle of Higher Education
In 2012, UF was recognized as one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a survey by the Chronicle of Higher Education. The results are based on a survey of more than 46,000 employees at 294 colleges and universities. In all, only 103 of the 294 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies. The University of Findlay won honors in the Facilities, Workspace, and Security category.
