Welcome to Exercise Science for Health Professions

Welcome to the Exercise Science for Health Professions (EXSC) Program at the University of Findlay!  Our unique Exercise Science for Health Professions (EXSC) program is designed to prepare undergraduate students for entry into a wide variety of disciplines, particularly health professions graduate programs.

The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides a variety of pathways for exercise science students after earning their undergraduate degree. Our curriculum places a high emphasis on comprehensive biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and anatomy courses, giving students the foundational knowledge required to excel at the graduate level in healthcare professions.

Students who major in EXSC can continue on to pursue careers in allied health professions programs such as Athletic Training or Physical Therapy, or even go on to graduate study in Exercise Physiology or Biomechanics areas.  Our unique “3+" programs are designed to accelerate exceptional students into graduate study in Physical Therapy, after only three years of undergraduate study.

Come for a visit and see for yourself all that the University of Findlay has to offer!
