Course Materials Made Easy with Slingshot


The University of Findlay has partnered with Slingshot, an innovative course materials auto-fulfillment program that works like a subscription box for your textbooks and supplies. Once you're registered for classes, everything you need will be delivered to you before the first day of class—automatically.


Here’s How It Works:

  • Enroll in classes as usual.

  • Slingshot takes care of the rest—no ordering required.

  • Your materials are delivered directly to your campus residence or preferred address.

  • Rental books are the default option to help keep costs low.

Who’s Enrolled?

Starting [insert term here], all new students are automatically opted in to Slingshot when they begin their program at UF. If you're a continuing student, you can opt in anytime by updating your preferences in your Slingshot account.

You can also opt out or return any unneeded books during the first week of the term for a full refund—no strings attached.


Manage Your Slingshot Account

  1. Go to slingshotedu.com/student-login

  2. Click Log In (top right corner)

  3. Use your UF login or full student email and student ID as your password

  4. Visit the My Account tab to:

    • Set your course material preference (rental, digital, purchase)

    • Choose your shipping address

  5. That’s it! You’re set. We’ll deliver your books before your first day of class.


Prefer to Shop A La Carte?

If you decide to opt out, you can still purchase your course materials individually from the University of Findlay Campus Store—online or in person.
